Magic Balls – Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Magic Balls is a free puzzle game for Android. The game is fully playable offline. The only feature that uses the network is the optional monthly leaderboard.
What we collect
If you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard, the following is sent to our backend and stored there:
- A 3-character display name you type when submitting
- Your final score
- An optional country flag (a two-letter country code you pick)
- A random identifier generated on your device the first time the app runs, used to distinguish entries. It is not linked to any hardware ID, advertising ID, or account.
If you don't submit a score, nothing leaves your device.
Where it's stored
Leaderboard data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase. Connections are encrypted in transit.
What we don't do
Magic Balls has no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. It doesn't request your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or phone number.
Children's privacy
Magic Balls is suitable for players of all ages, including children. We have designed the app with children's privacy in mind:
- The game is fully playable offline. No data is sent off the device unless the player chooses to submit a score to the leaderboard.
- The only "name" we collect is a 3-character arcade-style nickname (e.g. "AAA") that the player types when submitting a score. We do not ask for real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other directly identifying information.
- We do not collect location data. The optional country flag shown on the leaderboard is a country code the player chooses from a list — never derived from GPS or IP address.
- The random identifier described above is generated locally and is not linked to any device hardware ID, advertising ID, or account. It cannot be used to identify a child.
- The app contains no ads, no analytics SDKs, no in-app purchases, no chat, and no links out to social networks.
If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted a leaderboard entry they would like removed, they can email us at the address below and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
To remove a leaderboard entry, email us the display name you used and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
